Our membership consists of a diverse group of people who have a common bond of love for their Westies.  Some of our members show their Westies in Conformation events and/or Performance events such as Obedience, Agility, Tracking, Nose Work and Earthdog. Others simply enjoy being owned by a Westie.  We host a variety of events including a Fall Walk, Holiday Party, and Spring Banquet.

Interested in joining? Potential members are encouraged to attend a few meetings and then submit an application which includes the signatures of two members in good standing and a check for membership dues.  If you do not know two members of the WHWTCNE, we encourage you to begin attending our meetings a guest.  Please see our Meetings page for the next scheduled meeting.

Application for membership is found in the New Members section below.  Once we have received your application and membership fee, your application will be presented to the Board for approval and then posted in our Members Only Section.  At our next scheduled membership meeting, members will vote on your acceptance.  All applications need to be submitted to our Corresponding Secretary.

We look forward to seeing you at our next scheduled event!

New Members

If you are thinking of becoming a member, you’ll want to attend several events, meet our membership, and look for a sponsor who will provide guidance and advice and serve as a mentor to help you get established and involved in the Club.

Sponsorship is the backbone of the structure and growth of the West Highland White Terrier Club of New England, where we celebrate the breed and establish lifelong friendships.

For all the information you’ll need regarding WHWTCNE membership, please view the welcome letter, the Club Overview, Code of Ethics, Constitution and Bylaws, and Westie Club Membership Application.
